Haven of Rest Recycle Division
The Haven of Rest Ministries in Bristol has grown to meet many needs in the community. To help with funding, they have the Haven Thrift Store where they gladly receive quality, slightly used items for resale, and now they’ve added a Recycling Division. They recycle many items that most people throw away. Some of the items they recycle and would gladly accept are cardboard boxes, shoe boxes, clothing, purses, shoes, belts, copper, cell phones, VCRs, computer towers, laptops, printers, empty ink cartridges, electric motors, water heaters, junk mail, newspapers, plastic water bottles, plastic milk jugs, and detergent bottles. There are two locations in Bristol to drop off items: The Haven Thrift Store at 124 Pennsylvania Avenue or at 1215 5th Street (back entrance of the old Mitchell Powers building). For more information, please contact Joey Norris at 423.341.5773. Your recycled items may seem like junk, but God takes the worthless and makes it into something of great value!
