Christmas Eve Service
Join us from 6 – 7 P.M. on Christmas Eve in the auditorium for a time of singing, praying, and reflecting on the birth, life, death, and resurrection of our Savior!  All are welcome!

2015 Offering Envelopes
Offering Envelopes for 2015 are available in the walkway at the Welcome Center.  If you have not been issued offering envelopes and would like to be assigned them, please contact the church office at 628.2400.

Requesting Military Addresses
The residents of The Grand Court community are searching for names and addresses of deployed service members from our area who they can participate with in a pen pal program. They would also like to have the names and addresses of military families who are separated from their loved ones, who they could include in their written contacts. This will be an ongoing program throughout the year for the residents. If you have names and addresses you’d like to share or for more information, contact Janice Simmons at 669.1111 or at

Men’s Ski Trip
Any men who love to ski or enjoy getting to fellowship and worship with brothers in Christ should consider coming on the Men’s Ski Trip to Snowshoe, WV. The trip is scheduled for Jan 25 – 28, 2015. The exact cost is to be determined, but we anticipate the cost of the trip to be in the range of $160 – $210 which will include 3 nights of lodging, plus food. You will need to arrange for your own ski equipment. Transportation will be via carpool. If you are interested or would like more details, please contact Jeff Smith or Dana Smith before December 1 if you have any interest in going.

Ushers Needed
Volunteers are needed to serve as an Usher in our Sunday morning worship service. If you would like to help with this ministry or for more information, please call Kisha in the church office at 628.2400 or Jim Bebout.

Holiday Office Hours
The church office will be closed December 24–26 & January 1-2 in observance of the Christmas & New Years holidays.

No Sunday School
There will be no Sunday School classes on Sunday, December 28.  Worship service will begin at regular time.

Baptism Service
A baptism service is scheduled for Sunday, December 21. If you are interested in being baptized, please call the church office at 628.2400 or see Pastor Paul or Pastor Steven.

Community Christmas Dinner
The 17closeERROR: No results were found for your search.closeERROR: No results were found for your Annual Community Christmas Dinner will be held at Abingdon Senior Center on December 25 from 2 – 5 P.M.  Last year they served approximately 750 people! Many volunteers are needed to help with carving turkeys and hams, providing dessert, set up, delivering food, serving food, etc. If you would like to help with this wonderful community outreach, please come by or call the church office at 628.2400 to pick up a volunteer form. Forms must be returned by December 23.

Angel Tree
The Angel Tree is set up in the Welcome Center! The cost for each gift should be between $15 and $20. Once an angel is selected, purchase the gift identified on the angel, wrap the gift, and attach the angel to it. Place the gift under the tree by Sunday, December 14. There will be a party at the church on Saturday, December 20 at 11 A.M. to distribute the gifts. For more information, please contact Rita Abel at 608.2037.

Closers Needed
Volunteers are needed to help with closing the building after services on Sunday mornings. This duty helps our church staff greatly and allows them ot concentrate on their other obligations on Sundays. Please call Kisha in the church office at 628.2400 if you are willing to help.

Beautiful Beginnings Women’s Conference
Ladies! Sign up now for a time of spiritiual refreshment, encouragement, and laughter at the Beautiful Beginnings Conference. Author, speaker, and life coach Sheri Rose Shepherd will be coming to the Southwest VA Higher Ed Center on Saturday, January 10. The conference is from 8:30 A.M. – 2 P.M. and breakfast and lunch will be provided. Group registration is $20 (checks payable to Rosedale Baptist). Group registration ends June 4. Lend A Helping Can!
The Awana program, Lend a Helping Can, collected 603 cans of food to help Faith In Action! The goal was 500. Thank you to everyone who donated. What a great way to extend the love of Christ in our community!

Items Needed
Winter isn’t far off! Haven of Rest Rescue Mission hopes that you can assist them in helping others. Items needed are chicken noodle soup, socks, scarves, gloves, coats, sleeping bags, etc. They also need items on a recurring basis – paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, paper plates, trash bags, bedding and towls, copy paper, etc. Donations can be made at the main office at 624 Anderson St, Bristol TN.
