Graduation Banquet Reminder
The Graduation Banquet is Thursday, May 28 at 5:30 P.M.
The Awana Closing Program is Wednesday, May 20 at 6:30 P.M. in the auditorium. Everyone is invited for pizza and ice cream in the gym prior to the program!
Bible Study Fellowship
Coming in the fall of 2015, Bible Study Fellowship’s newest study will explore the revelation of Jesus Christ and the glorious consummation of His kingdom, the book of Revelation. Men may register for the fall class each Thursday from April 2 – April 30 at 6:50 P.M. Registration is held at Pleasant View United Methodist Church at the west entry. There is never a charge for BSF classes. Men can enter the study at any time, but for planning purposes they prefer you pre-register. Presently in Abingdon, there are 33 men from 14 different churches participating in BSF. For questions or more information, contact Larry Bays, Paul Quetsch, or visit www.bsfinternational.org.

Children’s Church Summer Break
Children’s Church (K – 3rd) will be on break during June and July. Enjoy worshiping together as a family through the entire service during these weeks. We will resume in August! The Pre-K class will continue to meet.
Wednesday Prayer/Bible Study
The Wednesday night prayer meetings/Bible study and dinners will not be meeting during the summer months. They will resume when Awana resumes meetings in the fall.
Youth Paintball Activity
There will be a Youth Paintball Activity at Paintball XS in Bluff City, TN on Saturday, June 13 – note new date. We will leave the church at 12:30 P.M. and return around 6 P.M. The cost will be $20 per person. Sign up and turn in your payment and waiver form (available from pastor Kevin or on the youth bulletin board) by Sunday, June 7. Important note about attire – Wear long pants and long sleeves (layer up to lessen impact if desired). Sandals are not permitted. Running shoes or boots are required to help run. Goggles/helmets/jerseys are provided by Paintball XS. Parents, if you can help drive, speak with Pastor Kevin (limited seating is available for parents to watch outside the protective netting of the arena).
Brenda Crane needs help watering the church flowers this summer. If you’d like to help with this, see Brenda or call her.
Food Pantry Teams
Abingdon Bible Church is scheduled to volunteer in the Faith In Action Food Pantry May 25 – 29. A sign-up sheet is available in the foyer for dates and times and to sign up to volunteer. For more information, contact Herman Snead or call the church office at 628.2400. We also want to encourage everyone to bring food to donate to the pantry….bins are in the foyer.
Automatic Giving Option
Abingdon Bible Church has worked with First Bank and Trust to create an option for automatic giving. If you are interested in having weekly or monthly debits from your account to Abingdon Bible Church, please contact Cassie or Kisha at 628.2400. This is a free service that is through First Bank and Trust’s secure network. Anyone can sign up for this service regardless of your home bank. Enrollment is now open.
